Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "Chainsaw Man" – the "Chainsaw Man" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure, with a suggested retail price of 27,800 JPY, scheduled for release in August 2025!
"Chainsaw Man" (チェンソーマン) is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" starting in 2018, and adapted into a TV anime by Mappa in 2022. The story is set in the late 1990s, a world filled with various devils born from human fears. Denji, a poor young man, partners with the Chainsaw Devil Pochita to hunt devils to pay off his debts and make a living. After being ambushed during a mission, Pochita forms a contract with Denji's dying heart, allowing Denji to be reborn and gain the power to transform into the Chainsaw Devil.
This "Chainsaw Man" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 30 cm tall, depicting Denji's ferocious appearance as he leaps from a pool of blood after transforming. The sculpting faithfully recreates the Public Safety Devil Hunter suit uniform and the intricate details of Chainsaw Man's head. The main body is supported by a dynamic, powerful blood pool base, showcasing a mid-air pose. The glossy, painted liquid blood base is partially deepened with airbrushing for a more realistic look, and the bloodstains covering Denji's entire body greatly emphasize the unique violent aesthetic of this work!
