Japanese model company KAIYODO's popular "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" action figure series has officially unveiled a new product based on the popular anime and manga series "One-Punch Man" – the "Genos" action figure. With a suggested retail price of 10,450 JPY, it is scheduled for release in August 2025!
S-Class Rank 14 Hero "Demon Cyborg" Genos (ジェノス) had his family killed by a cyborg in the past and was himself on the verge of death, only surviving thanks to Dr. Kuseno's modifications. Genos was the first to truly witness Saitama's power, and after seeing it firsthand, he decided to become his disciple, accompanying Saitama in various daily chore-related training.
This AMAZING YAMAGUCHI Genos adopts the appearance from Episode 11 of the second season of the anime, where he descends from the sky after being enhanced by Dr. Kuseno, confronting a wounded Garou. The sculpting faithfully recreates the upgraded mechanical details of his upper body, with a high-quality black and gold paint scheme. The lower body replicates the look of jeans, with exposed mechanical structures visible through the torn areas. A major highlight this time is definitely the fabric upper garment, which can be easily put on and taken off via Velcro on the back, allowing for the depiction of him shedding his top during intense combat!
Accessories include six interchangeable face parts, three sets of interchangeable hands, deployable arm blades, and a wealth of flame effect parts like the Incineration Cannon, allowing for the recreation of various cool dynamic poses from his battle with Garou, thanks to its flexible articulation! Furthermore, pre-orders at KAIYODO's official stores will include an exclusive bonus hair accessory, depicting his hair blowing against the wind during super-high-speed movement, enhancing the display's impact!
