Renowned entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman recently broke the exclusive news on his Patreon page that "La La Land" director Damien Chazelle is developing a biopic for Paramount Pictures about the iconic American stuntman Evil Knievel (pictured above). DiCaprio has reportedly committed to star, with William Monahan, who previously penned the script for DiCaprio's "The Departed," attached as screenwriter.
Born Robert Craig Knievel, Evil Knievel was famous for his daredevil motorcycle stunts and equally notorious for his lifelong volatile temper. Knievel passed away on November 30, 2007, at the age of 69, due to complications from diabetes and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
