This summer, amidst immense anticipation, Marvel Studios is releasing its blockbuster new masterpiece in the live-action Deadpool film series—"Deadpool & Wolverine"! This is also the official sequel after Disney acquired Twenty-First Century Fox in 2019 and regained the character rights to Deadpool. In addition to the soul of the franchise, Ryan Reynolds, handling the performance, screenwriting, and production for Deadpool, Hugh Jackman's return to the role of Wolverine has also been a hot topic of discussion among fans. The many surprise cameo characters in the film add even more icing on the cake. I'm sure all Marvel fans hope this spark continues to burn brightly, right?
▼Oh, that's right! "Deadpool & Wolverine" recently landed on streaming platforms. For those who want to watch it a second, third, or Nth time, or for friends who haven't seen it yet, don't miss out!
The six-inch "Marvel Legends" series from the internationally renowned toy giant "Hasbro" certainly couldn't miss out on this super-feast! This unboxing report will bring all you toy collectors four outstanding action figures, featuring Deadpool and his merry companions. So, without further ado, let's see what spectacular performance this Marvel Legends wave has in store!
▼Here are the four main characters of this unboxing. With the character portraits printed on the side of the box, collectors can easily identify the contents. Lining them up adds to the sense of accomplishment in your collection.
▼"Deadpool", donning a brand-new suit created by the TVA (Time Variance Authority), Wade Wilson decides to embark on a new wolf-hunting journey to save the universe (Earth-10005) that belongs to him and his friend.
▼A little surprise Easter egg after opening the box. Look at this inner lining paper—doesn't it just scream Deadpool style?
▼This figure is based on his new look from "Deadpool & Wolverine". In addition to the classic red and black color scheme, the gold accessory accents are just right.
▼The headsculpt. What's most stunning is the sculpted texture of the fabric surface.
▼The body is also filled with all sorts of details worth savoring.
▼Besides the excellent main body, the weapons are also generously included. His signature dual pistols can be freely holstered and unholstered from his thighs.
▼Of course, the dual swords on his back are a must-have!
▼The "Baby Knife," passionately called out several times in the movie, is also present and can be stored in the sheath on his calf.
▼In addition to the exquisite sculpt and abundant accessories, high articulation is another strength of the Marvel Legends series. No matter how you pose him, he looks cool.
▼"Smells good~ (sniffs)"
▼Want to dance to "Bye Bye Bye"? Of course, no problem! Does seeing this scene make that iconic song play in your head again?
▼"Wolverine", known as "the worst Wolverine". He blames himself deeply for the deaths of his X-Men teammates due to his out-of-control actions and numbs himself with alcohol daily. It's not until Deadpool travels through time to find him that he dons his yellow and blue suit and embarks on another journey of self-redemption.
▼The yellow and blue X-Men uniform is something fans have been clamoring for for a very, very long time. The fact that the movie brought it to life is truly satisfying for everyone.
▼First, let's look at the masked headsculpt. It also features fine textures and details, with the exposed mouth and stubble recreated via printing.
▼The unmasked headsculpt perfectly captures Hugh Jackman's portrayal of Logan in the movie. All I can say is, it's fantastic.
▼In addition to the headsculpts, the body parts are also faithfully recreated according to the movie's design, presenting the complete yellow and blue battlesuit.
▼By properly adjusting the articulated joints all over the body, you can recreate all sorts of incredibly cool poses for Logan!
▼Compared to the shorter stature in the original comics, Hugh Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine is taller and leaner, and the figure perfectly captures this aspect.
▼I'm just asking, with a yellow and blue Wolverine this awesome, are you going to buy it or not?!
▼"Headpool with Logan". Headpool is a Deadpool from another universe and a member of the Deadpool Corps. After being zombified, only his head remains, and he usually flies and moves using the propeller on his helmet. The bundled Logan is in the civilian clothes he was wearing while drinking his sorrows away at a bar when Deadpool found "the worst Wolverine".
▼Remember this winking, puckered-up Headpool from the Deadpool Corps' appearance? That's right, he's here, he's right here (and he thoughtfully comes with a dedicated stand)!
▼Although it's just a small head, it's packed with details: the stitching on the leather cap, the movable propeller, the mischievous, watery big eyes(?), and the printed shadows and grime to recreate the skull look. It's truly the ultimate in detail!
▼The civilian clothes version of Logan, recreating his slovenly, self-destructive look from the movie.
▼The headsculpt. Only the hairpiece is shared with the previous uniformed version. The face features a fuller look, and the likeness is truly astonishing.
▼The uniform glove peeking out of the jacket pocket, and the blue uniform boots hidden under the trousers—all are surprisingly recreated for you!
▼Although at first glance it might seem like the jacket hinders articulation, in practice, it doesn't have much of an impact. With proper adjustment, you can still pull off many cool poses!
▼Compared to the uniform, this civilian outfit really has a different flavor. You should really get both versions!
▼Allow me to praise it again: this headsculpt's likeness is absolutely incredible. Truly worthy of our Marvel Legends series!!
▼"Colossus", based on his appearance in the first movie from 2016, "Deadpool". A mutant from Russia, he can turn his entire body into organic steel and possesses immense strength. He recruits Deadpool to join the X-Men, but his by-the-book, rule-following nature often clashes with Deadpool's outrageous methods, giving him a constant headache.
▼Although he was presented via CGI in the movie, Colossus's performance in the first film was quite memorable. We've finally gotten a Marvel Legends figure of this version!
▼The serious version, Headsculpt #1. Upon close inspection, you can see that the eyes, mouth, and even the wrinkles are rendered with printing.
▼The gritting-teeth version, Headsculpt #2, is perfect for more dynamic combat poses!
▼It also comes with an X-Men handbook (Colossus version). The cover and inner pages are exquisitely recreated with printing! Rule 02 really makes you chuckle.
▼Switch to the alternate hands to hold the handbook.
▼The shoulders are equipped with butterfly joints, making a hands-behind-the-back pose like this effortless!
▼"I'm gonna punch you so hard...!" (Wrong quote)
▼Whether it's static, dynamic, or a Superhero Landing, he can pull them all off with ease!
▼Next, let's try some (passionate) combinations, shall we?
▼"SNIKT!"
"Wow... the claw!"
▼"Let's F*cking Go!!!"
▼Which Logan do you collectors like best?
▼Deadpool: "Only kids make choices. Me, I want them all!"
And that concludes this unboxing report of the "Deadpool & Wolverine" Marvel Legends series. Whether you love the wacky and snarky Deadpool or the handsome Hugh Jackman version of Wolverine, this wave has something to satisfy you. What are you waiting for? Go grab them and expand your collection!
