Furyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), a high-quality toy brand under Japan's F:NEX, will not only release "Momo Ayase" and "Seiko Ayase" this time, but will also simultaneously launch another new product based on the popular anime and manga series "Dandadan"—the "Turbo Granny (Maneki-Neko)" 1:1 scale soft vinyl figure, with a reference price of 21,780 JPY, scheduled for release in September 2025!
Turbo Granny, also known as "Hundred-Kilometer Granny," lurks in a tunnel, a popular spiritual hotspot in Seino City, to care for several vengeful spirits of young girls. When Okarun went there to test his courage, she cursed him and stole his testicles. After the Seino City incident, her consciousness was transferred by Seiko into a Maneki-Neko doll. Reluctantly, she assists Okarun and his group in searching for his lost testicles to regain her freedom.
This F:NEX Turbo Granny figure recreates her appearance after her consciousness was transferred into the Maneki-Neko, rendered as a 1:1 scale soft vinyl figure. The sculpting captures her simple yet adorable form, and the paintwork faithfully reproduces the patterns on her body, the "Senmanryo" (ten million ryo) gold coin on her chest, and the paw pads on her hands, among other details. It also includes a round base to perfectly support her top-heavy proportions. Standing at an impressive height of approximately 40 cm, this massive size is sure to exude a powerful presence in any collection. Don't miss out, fellow toy enthusiasts!
