Blake Lively's recent lawsuit against "It Ends with Us" director and co-star Justin Baldoni, alleging workplace harassment and a coordinated media smear campaign by a PR firm to destroy her image, has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. Many have begun to publicly voice their support for Lively, including Amber Heard.
Heard herself was mentioned in the lawsuit. Months before Lively officially filed, rumors circulated that the PR firm Baldoni allegedly hired also represented Johnny Depp. During Depp's US court case, the firm was reportedly instrumental in manipulating online public opinion, causing Heard's image to plummet and drawing widespread global condemnation.
Heard recently provided a brief statement to NBC, addressing the storm Lively is currently embroiled in and expressing her support: "Social media is absolutely the perfect illustration of 'a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes.' I have witnessed it firsthand, and I have lived through it. It is terrifying and incredibly destructive."
Beyond Heard, director Paul Feig, who worked with Lively on "A Simple Favor," also posted on X (formerly Twitter) to back her, as seen in the embed above. Additionally, "It Ends with Us" author Colleen Hoover recently vouched for Lively's character on Instagram Stories, calling her an absolutely honest person.

America Ferrera (far left in the image above), Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel (far right in the image above), who became close friends with Lively after co-starring in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," issued a joint statement. They stated that throughout the entire production of "It Ends with Us," they witnessed Lively advocating for a safe workplace for herself and other crew members. They expressed profound shock that even a powerful woman of her stature and resources could face retaliation for standing up and demanding her rights.
