Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's articulated figure series "figma" is releasing a new product based on the anime "Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF" — the "Holo" (Horo) articulated figure. The suggested retail price is 9,800 JPY, with an estimated release in November 2025!
"Spice and Wolf" is a light novel series created by Japanese author Isuna Hasekura with illustrations by Jyuu Ayakura. It was adapted into an anime by IMAGIN in 2008. In 2024, as part of the original novel's 15th-anniversary project, Passione produced a new anime adaptation, "Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF." It tells the story of traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence and the self-proclaimed wise wolf goddess "Holo" who unexpectedly meet and embark on a journey together.
This figma Holo stands approximately 15 cm tall, recreating Holo's appearance in the series wearing Lawrence's clothes. The sculpting faithfully reproduces details such as the wrinkles of the warm clothing and the fluffy edges. Articulation joints are cleverly integrated into the outfit, and the loose skirt ensures a certain range of motion for the legs. Accessories include two interchangeable face plates, five interchangeable hands, and a basket of apples, allowing collectors to recreate various poses of Holo from the series!
