The popular assembly model candy toy series "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT", released by BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from the Super Sentai series tokusatsu work "Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger", the "Dragon Caesar Clear Color Ver.", scheduled for release in May 2025.
Dragon Caesar (Allosaurus) is the Yamato Tribe's Guardian Beast summoned from the sea by Dragon Ranger after playing the "Zyusouken" (Beast Play Sword). By changing the tone of the Zyusouken, Dragon Caesar can be remotely controlled. Its fingers can fire super-high-heat energy blasts "Dragon Comet", and its drill-shaped tail possesses powerful attack capabilities. It can also concentrate energy in its chest to deploy a shield protecting its entire body. A single unit possesses the ability to combat multiple giant enemies. Furthermore, it can combine with Mammoth, Saber Tiger, and Triceratops to form "Gouryujin", or combine with Daizyujin to form "Jutei Daizyujin".
"SMP Dragon Caesar Clear Color Ver." is a modified version based on the previously released SUPER MINIPLA. The metallic texture of the silver molded parts throughout the body has been enhanced, while black, green, gold, and other parts are now made with clear molded plastic, creating a unique glossy and translucent appearance. Additionally, the color of many detail-enhancing stickers throughout the body has been re-adjusted. Specifically, mirror-silver stickers have been added to the inner side of the clear green parts to enhance reflectivity, which, combined with the outer patterns, creates a crystal-like luster.
Furthermore, the transformation and combination mechanisms are the same as the regular version. It can be combined with the separately sold "Daizyujin Clear Color Ver.", which shares the same texture, to form "Gouryujin", "Jutei Daizyujin", and other forms. The overall coloring is more splendid compared to the regular molded color version!
