TAITO Corporation's high-quality figure brand, Spiritale, has announced a new product based on the popular anime "My Dress-Up Darling": the Marin Kitagawa ~Swimsuit Ver.~ 1/6 scale pre-painted figure. Priced at 25,300 JPY, it is slated for release in September 2025.
Marin's swimsuit appearance is inspired by the second episode of the anime. During her first visit to Wakana Gojo's home for a cosplay costume fitting, Marin wore a swimsuit to make the measurement process less awkward for Wakana. However, physical contact is inevitable during fittings, and combined with Wakana's extreme nervousness, the entire scene exuded a heart-pounding, blush-inducing atmosphere!
This Marin Kitagawa ~Swimsuit Ver.~ 1/6 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 16.5 cm tall. It captures the moment when Wakana, overcome with shyness, hesitates to take her measurements, and Marin, sitting on a pile of futons with her leg casually draped over his, urges him with a playful "Just do it already!" The sculpt beautifully renders Marin's voluptuous yet slender physique. Her chest, lifted by the swimsuit, the subtle muscle definition around her waist, and her long, elegant leg lines are all meticulously detailed. Spiritale's unique "Smooth Skin Processing" technology creates a flawless, supple skin texture, appearing even fairer against the black swimsuit adorned with sunflower patterns.
Her hair is sculpted with a natural, flowing dynamic, and the paintwork faithfully reproduces Marin's iconic yellow-pink gradient hair color. In addition to her expression from the anime when she says "Just do it already!", an extra winking smile face part is included. The base features a plush fabric covering, recreating the soft texture of the futon pile from the anime. Furthermore, accessories such as Marin's bag, her discarded clothes and skirt, and Wakana's measuring tape are included on the side, perfectly recreating this heart-fluttering moment!
