Thai emerging art collectible studio SPIRAL STUDIO has announced its latest product from the film 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire': the 'TIAMAT' statue! The suggested retail price is US$399, with an estimated release in September-October 2025.
The Titanus – TIAMAT – appearing in 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,' named after the primordial goddess of Babylonian mythology, is a female serpentine monster in the MonsterVerse lore, residing in the ice mountains of Antarctica. Her body is covered in sharp scales, she can attack with phosphorescent toxic ink, and she excels in underwater combat. In the film, she is killed by Godzilla, who then draws energy from her lair, serving as a major power-up for his evolution into the pink form.
The SPIRAL STUDIO 'TIAMAT' statue, referencing the original CG data and settings from the film, with Japanese sculptor Susuki Togino (峠野ススキ) as the prototype artist, meticulously recreates her appearance from the movie. It is reproduced in a substantial size of approximately 42 cm in height and 46 cm in length, showcasing her powerful visage and majestic presence! Each scale on her body is meticulously crafted with multiple layers of paint, presenting astonishing realism. The metallic luster reflects beautiful light, while fluorescent accents give Tiamat an ethereal glow!
The base design depicts an underwater volcanic rock scene, not only enhancing the display effect but also adding an immersive element, allowing collectors to imagine Tiamat's natural, mysterious habitat.
