Renowned entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman has once again dropped a trove of new details concerning the DC Universe, Marvel Universe, and "Star Wars" on his Patreon page. On the DC front, Josh Brolin, who previously passed on the role of Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, remains a top target for DC Studios, which is reportedly still keen to find another suitable character for him.

Switching to Marvel, Richtman reports that a new "The Punisher" series is actively in development. Jon Bernthal, who is already set to reprise his role in "Daredevil: Born Again," is expected to continue as the titular vigilante.

Richtman also disclosed that Marvel is planning to introduce Clint Barton's comic book brother, Barney Barton, also known as Trickshot, into multiple upcoming projects. His debut is reportedly slated for a new season of the "Hawkeye" series. Furthermore, Marvel has already approached a major A-list star for the role.

Meanwhile, in the "Star Wars" galaxy, the long-rumored live-action adaptation of "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic," which Lucasfilm confirmed was in development back in 2019, now appears to be taking shape as a television series. Richtman asserts that Lucasfilm is actively developing a new series specifically set during the "Knights of the Old Republic" era.
