The 82nd Golden Globe Awards recently concluded, and Colin Farrell, who returned last year to star as the titular villain in "The Penguin," the spin-off series from "The Batman," took home the award for Best Actor in a Limited Series amidst overwhelming fan support. This makes him the third actor in cinematic history to win a Golden Globe for a comic book villain, following Heath Ledger for "The Dark Knight" and Joaquin Phoenix for "Joker."

During a press conference backstage at the Golden Globes, Farrell was asked by the media about Ledger and Phoenix. He immediately praised the talent of his peers, stating he was honored to have had the opportunity to observe their performances firsthand. Farrell humbly added that he didn't feel worthy of being in the same "hall of fame" as them for Batman villains. He remarked, "They're both so special, so to hear my name mentioned in the same breath as those extraordinary performances, honestly, I'm thrilled, but I'm still just a fan of it all! I don't feel like I'm part of that pantheon. Joaquin and Heath are truly two extraordinary and genuinely great actors."
