The robot-themed action figure series "ROBOT SPIRITS", released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced its latest product from "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon", the "EL-PC-00 ALBA STEEL HAZE ORTUS / Rusty", scheduled for release in July 2025.
STEEL HAZE ORTUS is the successor AC (Armored Core) used by V.IV Rusty, protagonist "C4-621"'s good comrade, in a specific ending route of the game. It adopts the new "ALBA" frame, developed by the "Elcano" company using technology provided by extraterrestrial corporations. Compared to the previous STEEL HAZE, it not only has a completely different appearance but also boasts significantly improved performance, making it even more adept at one-on-one close-quarters combat.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS EL-PC-00 ALBA STEEL HAZE ORTUS / Rusty" thoroughly recreates the design by mechanical designer Takayuki Yanase with a highly articulated specification, standing approximately 14 cm tall. It meticulously details the high-density mechanical intricacies, the rich panel lines and grooves on the armor, and applies various matte and metallic colors to differentiate between armor, frame, and sensor parts, making the details even more spectacular.
Some parts of the unit are made with alloy materials, ensuring both robust movable joints and a cool appearance, allowing for dynamic and expressive poses. Accessories include a Needle Gun, Stun Needle Launcher, Laser Blade, and an autonomous floating weapon. By swapping parts, the Laser Blade can display its deployed laser blade, and the autonomous floating weapon / Stun Needle Launcher / core unit can be shown in their deployed states.
