From China, the high-quality articulated figure collectible brand JOYTOY, this time, in addition to "Slash" and "Tokka", also simultaneously unveiled another new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" themed product—the "Tokka" (Tokka) 1/18 scale articulated figure, with a suggested retail price of US$49.99, scheduled for release in March 2025!
Krang first appeared in the second episode of the first season of the 1987 animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series. His design was inspired by the monster from the classic 1958 horror film "The Trollenberg Terror" and adopted some settings from the alien race Utrom in the comics. He is a ruler from Dimension X who lost his original body during his journey and subsequently teamed up with Shredder and his associates.
This 1/18 scale Krang articulated figure stands approximately 16 cm tall, boasting the most robust physique in the series to date. Its design primarily references the classic cartoon version, with sculpted details such as the strong muscle lines of Krang's mechanical shell, the joint lines on his legs, and the textures of his gloves! The organic feel of his main body is also meticulously reproduced, and his tentacles feature simple articulation, allowing him to be posed as if controlling his mechanical body!
Accessories include two interchangeable hands and weapons that can be swapped onto his hands, such as an axe, drill, chainsaw, and mace. It additionally features his simplified body, the Bubble Walker, allowing for various display options! This time, it also comes with a small, meticulously painted manhole cover base fragment, which can be combined with the previously released "Bebop and Rocksteady" and "Shredder" for a team display!
