Japanese toy company RE-MENT, known for its expertise in creating exquisite accessories and miniature models, today (9th) unveiled several new products. This article will introduce the new "Pokémon" themed Pocket Bonsai (ぽけっとBONSAI) series, the third installment following Vol. 1 and Vol. 2: "With the Changing Seasons" (tentative translation, 移りゆく季節と共に) box set! It is scheduled for release on April 28, 2025, with a suggested retail price of 1,200 JPY per box, featuring a total of six styles to collect.
RE-MENT's "Pocket Bonsai" series creates various plant and pot combinations, featuring Pokémon of different types, depicting them immersed in nature. Unlike other Pokémon box sets themed around wild scenes, this Pokémon bonsai model format adds a unique sense of beautiful Japanese aesthetics.
The six styles in this collection include the adorable interaction of "Pikachu & Sobble," the cool "Greninja," "Vulpix" navigating through rich autumn foliage to pick berries, "Torterra" paired with a large flower pot, the floating "Chimecho & Jirachi," and "Articuno" perched on a tree covered in thick snow. Among them, Pikachu standing on a lotus leaf, watching Sobble peek out from the water, is an absolutely wonderful scene!
