Following the "Seong Gi-hun" statue based on the popular series "Squid Game 2," the South Korean emerging statue brand JND Studios has once again unveiled a new addition to its "Hyperreal" series: the "Hwang In-ho (The Front Man)" 1/3 scale collectible statue. The suggested retail price is US$2,899, limited to 199 pieces worldwide, and is expected to be released in Q3 2026.
Hwang In-ho, The Front Man of "Squid Game," was the winner of the 2015 Squid Game. He later became one of the game planners for various reasons, taking over game management after the founder Oh Il-nam passed away. As the story of the second season unfolds, he personally joins the game under the alias "Oh Ning-il," becoming participant number 001, lurking beside Seong Gi-hun, who wants to end the game, observing and probing Seong Gi-hun's actions.
The JND STUDIOS "Hwang In-ho (The Front Man)" 1/3 scale collectible statue stands approximately 68 cm tall. It features a high-quality silicone recreation of actor Lee Byung-hun's facial features, including wrinkles around the eyes and skin texture. Glass eyeballs meticulously replicate his profound, inscrutable gaze, while hand-implanted high-fidelity hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes achieve extreme realism.
Capturing Oh Ning-il's body proportions and upright posture, the statue features the contestant's signature green tracksuit made from real fabric. The inner short-sleeved shirt is printed with number 001, and there are also "001" patches on the chest and back. Additionally, a blue "O" Velcro patch, symbolizing the continuation of the game, is present on the right chest.
Concurrently, a resin-crafted Front Man appearance is included, faithfully recreating his all-black attire, black leather gloves, black leather shoes, and mask. A handgun is also provided. The base features symbolic black flooring and the game's sand terrain, illustrating Hwang In-ho's dual role in the series.
