Japan's Bandai Spirits will release the latest product, the "Kirby Sound Star Rod," a physical replica of an in-game item from the popular game "Kirby"! The suggested retail price is 4,180 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025!
The important treasure in the "Kirby" game, the Star Rod, is the power source of the Fountain of Dreams and can fire stars as an attack! In "Kirby's Adventure," the star at the top of the Star Rod is a fragment of a star that fell in Dream Land long ago; after being stolen by King Dedede, it was broken into seven pieces and distributed to six great bosses, leading Kirby on an adventure to collect the fragments and repair the broken Star Rod.
The "Kirby Sound Star Rod" measures approximately 26 cm in height, faithfully recreating the staff with magenta stripes. When powered on, the star at the top will light up and emit in-game sound effects! Furthermore, if the sound switch is pressed, two tracks, "GREEN GREENS" and "Kirby Dance," will play. It comes with a star-shaped base where the rod can be placed, allowing it to be displayed on a desk or shelf!
