Bandai Japan has launched a new product in its "Tamagotchi Collectibles" series, which transforms the daily scenes of the beloved handheld electronic pet "Tamagotchi" into figures. The new item is the "Tamagotchi Poop Time" (tentative translation) mini figures, with a reference price of 660 JPY per pack, scheduled for release on March 8, 2025!
Tamagotchi (たまごっち) is a series of handheld electronic pet game consoles launched by Bandai in 1996. Its name combines the Japanese words for egg (たまご, Tamago) and watch (ウォッチ, Watch). Upon its release, it sparked a global electronic pet craze and became one of the most iconic toys of the 90s to early 2000s!
Besides feeding and interacting with your pets, cleaning up their poop is surely a fond (?) childhood memory for many toy enthusiasts! This "Tamagotchi Poop Time" series brings the pooping scenes of Mametchi and friends to life, featuring six types: Marutchi, Tamatchi, Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, Mimitchi, and Potchitchi. Each character displays a fun and vivid pooping expression, interacting differently with the toilet and the poop! Each pack also includes a Tamagotchi-shaped transparent storage case and a keychain, allowing you to display and carry the characters as charms, or even use it directly as a protective case for your Tamagotchi! No matter how you display them, they're super cute, and their pooping expressions are absolutely hilarious!
