Following the Xabungle, the "HG (High Grade)" robot model kit series from BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan has announced its second product from "Combat Armor Xabungle" after nearly a year: the "HG 1/144 Brockary", scheduled for release in May 2025.
The Brockary is the latest WM (Walker Machine) to appear in the series, developed by inheriting the design concept of the Xabungle. It completely eliminates the Xabungle's complex, prone-to-failure, and difficult-to-repair transformation and combination mechanisms. At the same time, it can achieve short flights using its back-mounted propellers and jet hover mechanisms, maintaining the mobility of a humanoid machine while also supplementing its anti-air capabilities.
The "HG 1/144 Brockary" utilizes entirely new parts to recreate its classic anime design. Leveraging Bandai's latest color separation and part division technology, the various colors of the machine are reproduced through the molded plastic parts. It also features flexible movable joint designs, allowing for dynamic and action-packed poses.
Weapons include its signature handheld "30mm Rifle". The "20mm Machine Cannon" on its chest can rotate its turret and adjust the barrel up and down. The large propellers mounted on its back also feature a rotating mechanism. Additionally, accessories include a monochrome molded figure of the protagonist "Jiron" and a hover machine model.
