Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya announced the latest scale figure product based on their original bishoujo model kit series "Megami Device", the "Shura Aoi Blue 2/1 Scale Figure", slated for release in July 2025.
The "Shura" series units from "Megami Device" were designed by renowned Japanese illustrator Nidy-2D-. The initially released Ninja and Archer characters featured armor designed with traditional Japanese red and white color schemes, combining traditional weapons such as bows, Japanese swords, shurikens, and wakizashis with mechanical structures. The voluptuous and sexy body sculpt was also a key reason for their popularity, with subsequent releases including various derivative versions like the "Aoi" series, which resembles summer swimwear.
Following the Shura Aoi Green, the "Shura Aoi Blue 2/1 Scale Figure" is also based on the illustration drawn by Nidy-2D- in the official doujinshi "Megami Device Shura Customization Special". At a height of 32 cm, it meticulously sculpts Nidy-2D-'s signature voluptuous physique and sexy swimwear design, boasting twice the height and eight times the volume compared to the model kit version.
The entire body features a healthy, sun-kissed tan skin tone. Areas adjacent to mechanical parts are sculpted with compressed and indented forms, showcasing a full, fleshy texture and rich details that could not be achieved with the model kit. The water gun-like weapon, the ammunition tank on the lower back, and the base all utilize clear parts to convey a liquid texture. Specifically, the base features splashing water created by a footstep, perfectly capturing the full summer beach vibe.
