Marvel Studios is not only aggressively expanding its live-action slate but is also highly active in the animation sector. Beyond fan-favorite series like "What If...?" and "Hit-Monkey," the recently premiered "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" has also garnered attention. However, these have all been episodic series, with no animated feature films released—until now. Renowned industry insider Daniel Richtman has finally offered a glimpse into Marvel Studios' plans on his Patreon, indicating that the studio is actively developing animated feature films.

According to Richtman's report, Marvel is currently developing two animated films. One will center on the superhero team "Power Pack," while the other will feature "Kid Kaiju." Power Pack previously had a short-lived pilot in the 1990s, which was not picked up for a full season and thus never officially developed into a series. In 2017, there were rumors of a live-action film adaptation, which then shifted last year to reports of Marvel considering an animated series.
