Following the announcement two days prior by Japanese model company Kaiyodo (KAIYODO) regarding the articulated figure releases of the "Beast Titan" and "Jaw Titan" from the super popular anime "Attack on Titan," today (the 22nd), the company once again revealed on its official X account that the "Colossal Titan" is set to be commercialized in the MEGA SOFVi series!
In the year 845, the Colossal Titan suddenly appeared outside Shiganshina District, shattering a century of peace with a single kick, and, in conjunction with the Armored Titan's assault, caused the outermost Wall Maria to fall, thus initiating the war. As one of the Nine Titans, the Colossal Titan possesses a towering physique that surpasses almost all other Titans. Although its 60-meter-tall form is cumbersome, the energy generated at the moment of its transformation is like a nuclear bomb, capable of instantly vaporizing an entire harbor. Coupled with its ability to freely control the release of steam, it becomes a formidable and unapproachable entity!
After Kaiyodo announced the appearance of five of the Nine Titans, including the "Attack Titan," "Female Titan," and "Armored Titan," in the "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" articulated figure series, many fans wondered how the Colossal Titan would join this series, given its scale. Kaiyodo's answer is to have Bertholdt's Colossal Titan appear in the "MEGA SOFVi" series, which specializes in producing large soft vinyl collectibles! While past experience suggests that this Colossal Titan will likely not feature articulation, its appearance alongside other Titan series products is still highly anticipated!
