PRISMA WING, the ACG character figure brand launched by renowned Japanese statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio, has announced its latest product, the "Ultimate Madoka & Devil Homura 1/7 Scale Figure", based on Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion-, slated for release in September 2025.
After countless cycles of death and rebirth during "Walpurgisnacht," protagonist Madoka Kaname ultimately sacrificed herself to become the god-like "Law of Cycles," freeing magical girls from their fate of becoming witches. Homura Akemi, who once tried to prevent Madoka from becoming a magical girl but ultimately facilitated everything, saw her love for her dearest friend's return gradually twist. She became a "Devil" opposing God, determined to bring salvation to Madoka. In the false world the Devil personally constructed, where everyone survived, the story of Madoka and Homura, God and Devil, will enter a new chapter with the new theatrical anime film, Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-, after a 12-year hiatus.
The "Ultimate Madoka & Devil Homura 1/7 Scale Figure" boasts an impressive size of 43cm high x 38cm wide x 30cm deep. It meticulously sculpts the moment the two greet each other, about to interlock fingers. Despite being a confrontation between God and Devil, an immense tenderness and emotion can be felt between them as they exchange heart-wrenching smiles, creating a highly dramatic scene.
Both characters' long hair and skirt hems are crafted with extremely light and dynamic forms. Through variations in materials and colors, such as clear parts and pearlescent gradient paintwork, the divine radiance of Ultimate Madoka and the somber darkness of Devil Homura are expressed. Their tension-filled poses, combined with a display base featuring a cosmic starry sky pattern, create a magnificent scene reminiscent of outer space.
