Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced the latest product in its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series, "S.H.Figuarts Guts (Band of the Hawk)," from the popular work Berserk. The suggested retail price is 11,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2025!
The protagonist of Berserk, Guts, is known as the "Black Swordsman" due to his all-black armor and cape, and his signature weapon is the massive "Dragon Slayer" greatsword, which is longer than himself. Not only is his body covered in countless scars from being forced to endure endless battles, but his extremely tragic childhood also left Guts with deep emotional wounds. Just when he finally found true friends and a home in the Band of the Hawk, he was betrayed by the "White Hawk," Griffith...
Guts, who miraculously survived the utterly tragic and horrifying Eclipse, was filled with black rage and embarked on a path of revenge.
The "S.H.Figuarts Guts (Band of the Hawk)" action figure is based on his appearance in the "Golden Age Arc," bringing Guts of the Band of the Hawk to life! Standing approximately 16 cm tall, it utilizes Tamashii's digital printing technology to faithfully reproduce various facial expression parts and an openable/closable helmet. It achieves proportions faithful to the original work while also offering natural articulation; the cape has a built-in wire, allowing it to be posed with natural flowing angles, and the Band of the Hawk emblem is also meticulously recreated.
In addition to the standard expression, interchangeable parts include a shouting expression and a grinning expression, as well as the greatsword and a dagger weapon part. Furthermore, there are also interchangeable helmet expression parts, allowing for enjoyment of various exciting battle poses!
