Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed brand MECHA SMILE's completed combining toy series 'THE GATTAI' has officially announced the latest product from the robot anime 'Brave Bang Bravern', 'THE GATTAI EX DX Superbia', scheduled for release in November 2025.
The mechanical lifeform Superbia is one of the 'Deathdread' executives who embodies arrogance, possessing a very traditional Japanese warrior spirit, eager to find a powerful opponent and engage in a fair and honorable duel. His weapon, 'Hien Raiga', can form a double-bladed sword or separate into twin swords, allowing him to unleash excellent close-quarters attacks with his massive wings on his back.
'THE GATTAI EX DX Superbia' faithfully reproduces its in-show appearance at an impressive height of approximately 20 cm. The entire body's colors are restored through paintwork, while the purple crystal parts are made with clear components. The flexible articulation design throughout the body allows for dynamic battle poses and a dignified cross-legged sitting posture.
In addition to the basic body articulation, DX Superbia also features various mechanisms to recreate in-show details, such as the transparent parts of the back wings being removable and transformable into storage mode. The chest can reproduce the capsule insertion or ejection state through interchangeable parts. The weapon 'Hien Raiga' can connect and separate its blades to recreate both double-bladed sword and twin sword forms.
This product can also link with the separately sold 'THE GATTAI DX Bravern' and 'THE GATTAI DX Bang Dragon'. It includes the 'Superbia Sword (Standard Color)', a greatsword formed from Superbia, allowing 'Bang Bravern' to equip it and recreate its final battle appearance. Furthermore, an original toy mechanism conceived by director Masami Obari has been designed, allowing Superbia's wings to be detached and attached to the backs of Bravern and Bang Bravern!
