GOOD SMILE COMPANY's MECHA SMILE brand, known for its finished combining toys "THE GATTAI" and alloy models "HAGANE WORKS" series, has announced that the latest products from the anime "Super Beast Machine God," "Ultimate Dancouga" and "Dairyu-Oh," will begin pre-orders in February 2025.
Ultimate Dancouga was originally a game-original form introduced in the 2021 game "Super Robot Wars 30." Based on Dancouga, it features additional armor to protect exposed cockpits, along with large wings and thrusters. This significantly enhances its attack, defense, combination time, and cruising range, while also reducing the burden on the pilots.
This release, "THE GATTAI HAGANE WORKS Dairyu-Oh," features the original designer, Masami Obari, participating in its production. The additional equipment for Ultimate Dancouga has been redesigned into a completely new original beast fighter, "Dairyu-Oh." It is set to be an enhanced unit capable of combining with Dancouga. Through precise sculpting and a transforming combination mechanism, it thoroughly reproduces its three forms: the fighter-like "Normal Mode," the dragon-like "Beast Mode," and the "Humanoid Robot Mode."
Dairyu-Oh can combine with the previously released "THE GATTAI HAGANE WORKS Dancouga" main unit to form "Ultimate Dancouga" with no leftover parts. It boasts an impressive size of 33 cm in height and 36 cm in width, and the head allows for optional attachment and removal of mask parts. Its weaponry can recreate the signature "Dancouga Cannon" on its back, and the Dancouga Sword is enhanced into the "Dancouga True Sword."
