Following the collaboration between the popular IP Masters of the Universe from renowned American toy manufacturer Mattel and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the series announced a dream crossover with another classic IP, ThunderCats, to launch the "Masters of the Universe x ThunderCats" (MOTU x ThunderCats) 5.5-inch action figure series. Following "Lion-O / Panthro / Battle Cat," this article will now introduce what the editor believes is a highly anticipated "Mummy Skel-Ra" (tentative translation: Skell-Ra) 5.5-inch action figure. The suggested retail price is US$29.99, with an estimated release in June 2025!
ThunderCats is an animated television series co-produced by American and Japanese studios, which aired in the United States from 1985 to 1986. It was introduced and broadcast in Taiwan by CTV in 1986. It tells the story of the ThunderCats fleeing their dying homeworld, only to be attacked and decimated by the Mutants' army en route. The surviving ThunderCats, led by the young Lion-O, land on Earth and must contend with the local Mutant forces, spearheaded by the evil Mumm-Ra.
This time, Skeletor, the arch-nemesis of Masters of the Universe, and Mumm-Ra, the main antagonist of ThunderCats, have been fused into a powerful new entity: "Skell-Ra"! The design combines the aesthetics of both villains. They share a muscular blue body in the Origins series style. Swappable head sculpts allow for switching between Skeletor and Mumm-Ra. The cape on the back can be reversed to display red or purple sides, depending on the character. It also comes with exclusive harness and skirt armor accessories, as well as a jagged double-bladed weapon. This truly showcases a powerful evil aura where the sum is greater than its parts!
