Japan's Bandai SPIRITS Co. has officially unveiled the full lineup of prizes for its super popular "Ichiban Kuji" (Lottery) series, where every draw wins a prize, featuring new merchandise themed after the classic cartoon "Tom and Jerry" – the "Tom and Jerry 85th Anniversary"! The suggested retail price is 750 Japanese Yen per draw, and it is scheduled to launch on February 14, 2025!

"Tom and Jerry" is an animated series created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1940, produced and distributed by MGM. During its original broadcast run from 1940 to 1958, it won 7 Academy Awards for Best Short Subject. After its relaunch in 1961, its popularity even surpassed the "Looney Tunes" cartoon series, becoming a globally popular animated series. The exaggerated cartoon expressions and the exciting love-hate dynamic between Tom and Jerry have ensured that their popularity continues to grow, even more than 80 years after their debut!

This "Tom and Jerry 85th Anniversary" Ichiban Kuji commemorates the work's 85th anniversary, offering prizes of different tiers, from A to K, along with a Last One Prize and a Double Chance Prize. Among them, the A Prize is an 85th Anniversary Character Figure. The central logo features a film strip design from animation scenes, and Tom, Jerry, Tuffy, and the Canary surrounding it are all highly dynamic, greatly showcasing the work's strong cartoon style!
