Bandai's GASHAPON division in Japan has launched a new product featuring popular Sanrio characters—the "Sanrio Characters Partner Figure Model" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, and it was released in the second week of February 2025!
This "Sanrio Characters Figure Jewelry Stand 6 Dreamy Milky Ver." is a re-release of the version launched in 2022 with new colors. Four popular Sanrio characters—My Melody, Kuromi, Keroppi, and Pompompurin—have been made into small figures approximately 6.5 cm tall. The creamy, low-saturation color palette gives them a softer overall look. The bottom of the gashapon model also features a ruffled base, made from the lower half of an eggshell and colored to match the character, which can be used to store jewelry, stationery, and other small items. The pointed tips of the ears and other grooves on the figure can also be used to hang earrings or rings. Displaying them with the lid closed as a collectible is not only super cute but also ensures that your stored small items won't get lost!
