PLEX Corporation of Japan produces, and X-PLUS Corporation distributes, the soft vinyl figure series "GIGANTIC SERIES", known for its intricate details and massive size. They have announced the latest product from the film "Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla", the "FAVORITE PRODUCTS LINE SpaceGodzilla", slated for release in May 2025. This product will be exclusively sold through official designated channels such as "Shonen RIC" and "GODZILLA STORE".
Known as the "Cosmic Evil Battle Beast," SpaceGodzilla is believed to be an abnormally evolved creature formed after Biollante or Mothra carried G-cells into space, which were then absorbed by a black hole and fused with crystalline organisms and stellar explosion energy. It possesses an extremely brutal nature, high intelligence, and combat abilities superior to Godzilla's. It can fire a curving Corona Beam, manipulate gravity, deploy a shield that completely repels Godzilla's heat ray, and absorb infinite energy by generating crystals, making it one of the most formidable adversaries in the franchise's history.
This product is the third installment in the "OMEGA BEAST" series, a collaboration between X-PLUS and Taiwan's EZHOBI. Taiwanese sculptor K.N. Lin (林凱恩) is responsible for the prototype, creating SpaceGodzilla's powerful roaring pose at a colossal size of approximately 55 cm in height and 64 cm in length.
At this immense scale, the alien-like chest and abdomen, as well as the limbs reminiscent of the original Godzilla, are sculpted with extremely intricate textural details. The ferocious head, with its wide-open maw, features sculpted jagged fangs and tongue patterns that evoke an extraterrestrial creature, embodying the aura befitting its title as the "Cosmic Evil Battle Beast." The horns on its head, the massive crystals on its shoulders, and its dorsal fins are painted over transparent parts, using delicate colors to express the crystals' luster and the gradual transition of the membrane color to the skin.
