With horror maestro James Wan returning to produce, the official sequel "M3GAN 2.0" dropped its first teaser trailer and poster, strategically timed with the Grammy Awards. This promotional clip appears to be specially shot for the announcement rather than being actual footage from the film. The teaser calls back to the original's iconic viral dance sequence, showing off a new routine from the killer doll. This time, however, M3GAN's moves are set to Chappell Roan's 2020 track, "Femininomenon."

"M3GAN 2.0" sees Gerard Johnstone return to the director's chair with a script once again penned by Akela Cooper. The original cast is back, including Violet McGraw, Allison Williams, Amie Donald (as the physical performer for M3GAN), and Jenna Davis (as the voice of M3GAN). New additions to the cast include Jemaine Clement and Timm Sharp. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27, 2025.
