Just last month, "Neighbors" franchise director Nicholas Stoller (pictured below) teamed up with Will Ferrell for the Amazon comedy film "You're Cordially Invited". The movie garnered excellent viewership, quickly climbing to the number one spot on Amazon Prime Video's global charts. Capitalizing on that success, the duo is already preparing to move forward with their next project.

Deadline exclusively reports that Stoller's next untitled comedy, which he will write, produce, and direct, will again star Ferrell. Zac Efron is set to join as the other lead. The film will center on a recently released young convict who takes a TV court reality show hostage, accusing an arrogant television judge of ruining his life with a past wrongful ruling. Efron will portray the young convict, while Ferrell will play the judge.
