The unreleased "Assassin's Creed Shadows" has continued to face controversy since Ubisoft dropped its cinematic trailer. Discussions have centered on elements like Yasuke's armor appearing more elaborate than Oda Nobunaga's in the trailer, and gameplay footage showing Yasuke attacking Japanese civilians and destroying shrines, reigniting debate.

Now, this already controversial new installment in the "Assassin's Creed" series faces another setback: a 256-page unreleased art book has reportedly been uploaded to the adult website "E-Hentai." This premature leak reveals significant game information well before its official launch, creating an awkward situation for Ubisoft.
The leaked "Assassin's Creed Shadows" art book, officially titled "Art of Assassin’s Creed Shadows," reportedly details the game's story background, character designs, environment concepts, and weapon systems. Many of these specifics had not been publicly revealed before.
▼According to Reddit users, the book includes concept art for locations like Kyoto and Osaka, along with character designs for figures such as Hattori Hanzō, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Momochi Tanba.
The "Assassin's Creed Shadows" art book leak was first discovered by Reddit users, who provided links to the original source and other sites hosting the scanned content. However, publisher Ubisoft has since taken action, and the leaked images from "E-Hentai" have reportedly been removed from the internet.

In fact, the art book isn't the only leak to plague the game. Previously, "Assassin's Creed Shadows"' first expansion pack also accidentally surfaced on Steam. Reportedly titled "Claws of Awaji," the DLC is set to introduce a new explorable area, a new weapon type, and over 10 hours of additional gameplay. While Ubisoft has yet to officially announce the DLC, the Steam update provided an early glimpse into its key details.
