World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled two new products based on the classic tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider"—the "Kamen Rider No. 1" 1/6th scale collectible figure and the "Cyclone No. 1" 1/6th scale model. The set will be available for a suggested retail price of US$550, with an estimated release between Q1 and Q2 2026!

First aired in 1971, "Kamen Rider" is a tokusatsu TV series created by Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei. It tells the story of Takeshi Hongo, a brilliant and athletic young scientist who is abducted by the evil organization Shocker and transformed into a cyborg. Just as they were about to perform the final brain modification, Hongo seized the opportunity to escape and rescue his mentor, Dr. Midorikawa. He vowed to protect humanity's freedom, transforming into "Kamen Rider No. 1" to fight against Shocker.

The standalone Kamen Rider No. 1 figure has a suggested retail price of US$280. The figure stands approximately 30 cm tall and is built upon a newly developed body with 30 points of articulation, allowing for easy recreation of various dynamic poses! The costume is meticulously handcrafted from real leather, faithfully reproducing the chest armor, boots, gloves, and other accessories. The red scarf, embedded with wire, can be posed as desired, and the intricate details of the Old No. 1's dark helmet are exquisitely recreated. Furthermore, the helmet's compound eyes feature an LED light-up function, radiating the glow of justice even in the darkest night!

This release also includes a hand-painted head sculpt of Takeshi Hongo, with delicate sculpting that captures actor Hiroshi Fujioka's refined facial features, complemented by movable eyeball technology to vividly reproduce his expressions from the series! The transformation belt offers both normal and transformation buckle styles, which can be paired with Cyclone No. 1 for play. By swapping the belt buckles and utilizing the LED light-up function, No. 1's iconic transformation scene can be recreated! Accessories also include four sets of interchangeable hands and a helmet accessory, allowing for display options such as Takeshi Hongo holding the No. 1 helmet!

Another major highlight of this release is No. 1's beloved motorcycle—Cyclone No. 1! The standalone model has a suggested retail price of US$290, measuring approximately 35.5 cm in length. It is precisely crafted to 1/6th scale, faithfully reproducing Cyclone No. 1's appearance from the series, showcasing highly intricate mechanical details. It features a functional spring suspension system and rotatable rubber tires, with both headlights and taillights equipped with LED light-up functions. The weathering effects are applied with exquisite technique, boasting astonishing details that are in no way inferior to the Kamen Rider No. 1 figure itself! This is definitely a set you'll want to acquire, otherwise, No. 1 won't be able to perform his transformation smoothly!
