The popular action figure "S.H.Figuarts" series, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., recently held a "40th Anniversary Reissue" popularity poll to commemorate the 40th anniversary of "Dragon Ball." The fan-favorite product is now making a comeback with the release of "S.H.Figuarts Cooler Final Form -40th Anniversary Reissue Edition-"! The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in September 2025.
"Cooler (クウラ)", who first appeared in the "Dragon Ball" theatrical animation "Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge" (also known as "The Strongest vs. The Strongest"), is the son of King Cold and the older brother of the galactic emperor Frieza. His appearance is similar to his younger brother's final form. He possesses an extremely cold and cruel personality and is very arrogant, considering Saiyans to be inferior beings and proclaiming himself the strongest in the universe.
The "S.H.Figuarts Cooler Final Form -40th Anniversary Reissue Edition-" action figure is based on the "S.H.Figuarts Cooler" released in 2021. It faithfully recreates his intimidating, muscular physique in his powerful final form, featuring four sharp horns growing from his head, red eyes, and blade-like protrusions on his arm armor!
In addition to the interchangeable expression parts, hand gestures, and attack effect parts included with the original version, it also comes with an original 40th-anniversary commemorative display base. Inspired by Cooler's image, it features a purplish-red transparent material and is printed with the "Dragon Ball" 40th-anniversary logo, making it quite striking!
