Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted PVC figure series, POP UP PARADE, is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a"—the "A2 (YoRHa Type A No. 2)" non-scale pre-painted complete figure, with a suggested retail price of 5,500 JPY and an estimated release date of July 2025!
The TV anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a," which began airing in 2023, is produced by A-1 Pictures and is an adaptation of "NieR:Automata," a spin-off of the "Drakengard" series developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. One of the three main protagonists in the series, YoRHa Type A No. 2 (A2 for short), is a YoRHa attack-type prototype model enhanced for close-quarters combat. She possesses an arrogant and aloof personality, yet also has a casual side that differs from the serious 2B.
This POP UP PARADE A2 stands approximately 17 cm tall and captures A2 in a magnificent pose, looking back while holding her Type-40 Tactical Sword. The sculpting faithfully recreates her graceful body curves, with delicate rendering of her slender waist, thighs, and the voluptuousness of her hips.
