Bandai SPIRITS' incredibly popular "Ichiban Kuji" (一番くじ) series, where every draw wins a prize, will release its latest product themed after the classic popular anime "Sgt. Frog" (Keroro Gunso) — the "Ichiban Kuji Sgt. Frog." The suggested retail price is 700 JPY per draw, and it is expected to launch in mid-June 2025!
"Sgt. Frog" (ケロロ軍曹) is a monthly manga series created by Japanese manga artist Mine Yoshizaki. In 2004, it was adapted into a TV anime by Sunrise Inc., chronicling the boisterous comedic daily life of Sergeant Keroro and his platoon, who were dispatched from the "Keron Star" for reconnaissance but accidentally exposed their presence and ended up living with the Hinata family.
This "Ichiban Kuji Sgt. Frog" offers prizes of different tiers, including A-K, the Last One Prize, and the Double Chance Prize. Among them, Prizes A-E are soft vinyl figures of the five members of the Keroro Platoon: Sergeant Keroro, Private Second Class Tamama, Corporal Giroro, Sergeant Major Kururu, and Lance Corporal Dororo. From the currently released images, it can be seen that they are depicted in sitting poses, and arranging them in a row will surely be super adorable! Prizes F-K are a thermo-sensitive mug, childhood form mini character figures, a short towel collection, a stationery set, rubber charms, and stickers, respectively. The Last One Prize and Double Chance Prize are Keroro plush cushions. Product images for Prize G, the childhood form mini character figures, have also been preemptively released. They feature the childhood appearances of four platoon members (excluding Tamama) and Nurse Pururu, also crafted with unique and adorable sitting poses!
