In the new Code Geass work, 《Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture》, the UZZ-001s Zi-Apollo piloted by Ash, one of the protagonists, is a KMF utilized by the mercenary brothers Rozé and Ash, known as the "Nameless Mercenaries". It is piloted by the elder brother, Ash, who possesses exceptional athletic ability and piloting skills. Although this machine is a new KMF of unknown origin, it boasts outstanding performance, and when combined with Ash's remarkable piloting skills, almost no one can rival his combat capabilities. Its combat ability is further enhanced upon activating its high-mobility mode, 'MEGISTUS ZETA'.
In addition to its articulated structure, which maximizes the recreation of Zi-Apollo's unique acrobatic movements, the included accessories also allow for the reproduction of classic scenes. The Zi-Apollo makes its appearance in the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS series, boasting a high-spec texture befitting a new Knightmare humanoid weapon. The main torso and limbs are constructed with numerous alloy parts to enhance its substantial feel and joint rigidity during play. The exterior armor faithfully reproduces its cool, sharp design and is finished with rich color coatings such as wine red, navy blue, and silver, showcasing the machine's heavy metallic texture. Multiple flexible joint designs, including multi-axis joints, are used in various areas such as the shoulders, abdomen, waist, and legs, to recreate its dynamic combat poses from the show.
Standing approximately 140mm tall. Accessories include 3 types of interchangeable left and right wrists, an interchangeable masked face part, a Camden Rifle, Levyletaine Swords × 2, an Energy Shield, Flying Swallow Claws deployed state parts × 6, auxiliary mechanical arms set × 2, and a dedicated display stand, among others.
QC is excellent, and articulation is outstanding! This is, of course, related to its design. Personally, I find 《Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture》 to be quite good, with very exciting battle scenes! And this Apollo can re-enact any famous scene's actions from the show. The metallic colors are vibrant, and the joint tightness is appropriate. The only minor complaint is that the attachment points for the wire anchors are slightly loose, but that's all. It's a pity that I believe we won't get to see the combined mode...
Fans of the Code Geass series should not miss this! It's very likely to be D.M.S.'s Best Buy@2025!
