T-ARTS, a toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY Company, will launch the latest edition of its popular "Funny Art" series featuring "Tom and Jerry" this February: the "Tom and Jerry Funny Art Best selection" Gashapon! The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with a total of 6 designs to collect.
The animated series "Tom and Jerry," created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, primarily features short stories centered around their endless chases, pursuits, and mutual mischief. Tom goes to great lengths, using various exaggerated tools to try and catch Jerry, but the clever and cunning Jerry always makes Tom suffer. Of course, sometimes their roles are reversed, with Jerry getting a thorough beating from Tom. The animation's various mind-blowing transformation sequences are also brilliant highlights; the imaginative scenes of destruction always make us burst into laughter and provide ultimate stress relief! However, Tom and Jerry occasionally cooperate and become friends.
The Funny Art series Gashapon released by T-ARTS meticulously recreates the hilarious transformations from the "Tom and Jerry" show in sizes ranging from approximately 3 to 5 centimeters. In addition to fun mini-figures, there are also ball chain charm versions that can be hung on bags. This "Best selection" is a compilation of six popular designs carefully chosen from the first wave, the second wave, the third wave, and the fourth wave. Tom, Jerry, and Nibbles (Tuffy) each have two variations, with three of the designs including a ball chain.
