From China's high-quality collectible toy brand HIYA TOYS, their EXQUISITE BASIC series will launch its latest product based on the movie "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire": the "Scylla" non-scale 6-inch action figure! The suggested retail price is US$51, with an estimated release in Q4 2025.
The sequel to "Godzilla vs. Kong," "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire," sees human society learning to coexist with Titans after the explosive confrontation between Godzilla and Kong—with Godzilla systematically repelling threatening Titans on the surface. One of these Titans, Scylla, features a formidable and bizarre sea monster design, combining king crab-like legs, a nautilus-covered body, and an octopus-like head. In the film, it engaged in a fierce battle with Godzilla in Italy but ultimately succumbed to the King of the Monsters.
The "EXQUISITE BASIC Scylla" non-scale 6-inch action figure meticulously recreates its on-screen appearance, referencing the original CG data from the film. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, it exquisitely details the crustacean-like shell and its six slender, spiky limbs. Multi-layered paintwork highlights the ancient beast's majesty, creating a realistic texture. The entire body is designed with multiple articulated joints, including a unique pull-out joint in the neck for an extended upward range of motion, and multiple pivot joints in the legs, allowing for easy recreation of natural and dynamic poses from the movie.
