Natalie Portman, who recently starred in the Apple TV+ limited series "The Lady in the Lake," has several new projects on the horizon. Among them is "Good Sex," a feature film written and directed by Lena Dunham (pictured below), the creator and star of HBO's "Girls." The film is set to be shopped for distribution rights at this week's European Film Market.

The plot synopsis for "Good Sex" was recently unveiled. It follows Ally, a successful couples therapist portrayed by Portman, who is nearing 40 after ending a decade-long relationship. Encouraged by her friends, she re-enters the dating scene. However, Ally unexpectedly finds herself in a complicated love triangle: she embarks on a passionate romance with a Brooklyn-based twenty-something, while simultaneously developing a more stable, traditional relationship with Allen, a successful Manhattanite in his fifties. As her romantic entanglements escalate into a full-blown identity crisis, Ally must navigate keeping these two vastly different men apart while reconciling her conflicting desires, lest she lose them both.
