Japan's Bandai Toy Company's GASHAPON capsule toy brand has announced that the character figure 'PORTRAITS' series will release its latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", the 'Machu & Nyan Set', scheduled for September 2025.
The protagonist of "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", Yoha Amate, is a high school girl living a peaceful daily life in a space colony. One day, feeling a sense of unreality, she encounters Nyan, a young war refugee. She accidentally becomes the pilot of the mysterious mobile suit "GQuuuuuuX", and gets caught up in the illegal MS dueling competition "Battle Group Showdown". From then on, Yoha adopts the alias "Machu" and dedicates herself to intense daily battles.
The "PORTRAITS Machu & Nyan Set" brings to life the scene from the series where the two heroines, dressed in school uniforms, are seated at a school desk. With an easy-to-display and collectable height of 12.5 cm, it meticulously recreates the adorable designs by illustrator Take. It captures Machu's petite cuteness and Nyan's quiet elegance, while also faithfully reproducing rich details through color application, such as the highlights in their hair, the patterns on their backpacks, and the "Lieutenant" squirrel mascot charm.
