Japan's SEGA Games, under its SEGA PRIZE brand, will release a new product from the TV anime "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian" on February 14th: the "Alya -Swimsuit-" (アーリャ －水着－) figure, part of their "Luminasta" series!
The manga "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian," adapted from the light novel with original work by Sunsun SUN, character designs by Momoco, and art by Saho Tenamachi, revolves around the daily school life of protagonist Masachika Kuse and the half-Japanese, half-Russian heroine Alisa Kujou (Alya). Beyond their interesting 'more than friends, less than lovers' interactions, a major highlight of this work is Alya's habit of hiding her embarrassment in Russian, sometimes even to the point of playfully teasing Masachika. However, much to Alya's surprise, Masachika learned Russian in his childhood for a playmate and is now almost fluent, meaning he completely understands all of Alya's embarrassing remarks! Ah~~ just get together already!
This swimsuit-clad Alya figure stands approximately 19 cm tall, depicted with her right hand extended, as if inviting you to step onto the soft sandy beach with her. The overall impression exudes a relaxed, vacation-like atmosphere, distinct from her school uniform appearance. In addition to the original lemon-yellow swimsuit perfectly complementing Alya's fair skin, the aqua-blue ties and hairband are also striking. Alya's long hair, a significant charm point, is sculpted with an excellent sense of dynamic flow, and combined with the base featuring waves lapping at the sandy shore, this is definitely a must-have!
