Always bringing smiles with their incredibly creative and humorous works, Panda's Ana (パンダの穴), a capsule toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY toy company, is set to release the latest "Tropicals Vol. 4" (トリピカルズ4) capsule toys in March 2025, following the first volume, second volume, and third volume of their "Tropicals" (トリピカルズ) series! The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with a total of five designs to collect.
Combining the Japanese words for tropical (トロピカル; Tropical) and bird (トリ), the original wondrous creatures "Tropicals" (トリピカルズ), designed by Panda's Ana, inhabit an island far south of Japan. They possess both the appearance of fruit and the wings, beaks, and feet of birds, with their small, round black eyes further enhancing their adorable charm!
In this fourth appearance of the Tropicals lineup, we can collect five new varieties: Green Banana (青バナナ), Bitter Melon (ゴーヤ), Dragon Fruit (ドラゴンフルーツ), Papaya (パパイヤ), and Shikuwasa (シークヮーサー), a sour citrus fruit/Taiwanese lemon found in regions like Taiwan and Okinawa. While showcasing new shapes and colors, the series maintains its consistent size variations, ranging from large to small. The big, round Dragon Fruit bird, with its beautiful gradient colors, is definitely a must-have for multiple collections – it's just too cute!
