TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product in the "Saint Cloth Myth EX" series: the "Mime of Benetnasch" action figure! The suggested retail price is 15,400 JPY, with an estimated release in July 2025.
Mime of Benetnasch, the God Warrior of Asgard from the original Asgard Arc of the anime "Saint Seiya", is a warrior who enjoys playing and uses a harp as his weapon, earning him the title "the man with the most terrifying fist". He was raised by the Asgardian warrior Folken, but upon discovering that Folken was the one who murdered his birth parents, Mime was consumed by rage and killed his adoptive father. During his battle with Ikki, he realized the deep sorrow and regret within his heart, unleashing his hidden power before ultimately dying from exhaustion.
The seventh product in the Asgard Arc series, the "Saint Cloth Myth EX Mime of Benetnasch" action figure, stands approximately 17 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Mime's orange-red long hair, and his striking Cloth features a metallic coating for a brilliant shine and a sense of weighty, metallic presence. It comes with a rich assortment of interchangeable face parts, including an expressionless face, a smiling face, a grinning face, a closed-eyes face, and a battle-cry face, along with multiple interchangeable hand parts. Paired with his Benetnasch Harp weapon, fans can recreate dynamic poses from the series! As with other figures in the series, the Cloth can also be assembled into its object form, transforming into a harp!
