The alloy model series "HI-METAL R", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has officially announced the latest product from "Armored Trooper Votoms: The Last Red Shoulder", the "Blood Sucker", scheduled for release in July 2025.
The X-ATH-P-RSC Blood Sucker was originally the Gilgamesh military's next-generation main combat machine intended to replace the "Scopedog", but due to leaked development data, it was modified into a completely different unit by a secret organization. This machine adopts a larger H-class specification, with enhanced performance compared to the Scopedog, and is equipped with weapons such as the "Blood Rifle".
The "HI-METAL R Blood Sucker" faithfully recreates its H-class size and anime design, produced at a larger 18.5 cm scale than previous Scopedog products. It newly reproduces the heavy form of its jet-black armor and features body markings printed on multiple areas such as the skirt armor and calves. The distinctive red right shoulder armor can be swapped between complete and battle-damaged blade antennas. Weapons include two heavy machine guns with different detailed sculpts and spare magazines.
The entire unit features flexible articulated joints, allowing for various combat poses and a folded lower body standby state. Deploying the chest armor reveals the intricate internal cockpit structure, where the Perfect Soldier Ypsilon pilot figure can be placed. Furthermore, the unit's head also has a deployment mechanism, allowing the sensor to flip up to reveal the internal screen panel and the cockpit interior.
