Japanese toy company PMOA (PMOA Co., Ltd.)'s figure brand "PLUM" has partnered with popular Japanese illustrator Morikura En (morikuraen) to recently announce a 1/7 scale figure of Morikura En's original character, "Sunflower Girl" (向日葵の女の子)! It is scheduled for release in May 2025, with a suggested retail price of 20,000 JPY.
Toy enthusiasts who enjoy Sousai Shojo Teien or have pulled the "Leaf" Supporter card in the PTCG Pocket game are certainly no strangers to popular Japanese illustrator Morikura En! This time, PLUM's three-dimensional "Sunflower Girl" figure stands approximately 24 cm tall. It not only fully reproduces the healthy beauty and graceful physique of Morikura En's beautiful girl characters, but also excellently captures everything from her cheerful smile, the delicate depiction of her eyes, the light and airy sculpting of her short hair, to the fluttering appearance of her blue and white checkered shirt as it's blown by the wind.
PLUM has also utilized meticulous painting and shading effects to convey Morikura En's outstanding light and shadow expressions from her artwork as much as possible, giving the overall piece a more vivid three-dimensional feel. The Sunflower Girl's fair skin, white swimsuit adorned with sunflowers, and sky-blue shirt combine to create a rich yet soft color palette that evokes a relaxing, translucent sensation – it's truly captivating!
▼Purchasing the PLUM limited edition also grants an interchangeable "winking" expression, further enhancing its versatility.
