Penned by the original film's screenwriter, Bill Dubuque, the sequel kicks off when the former boss of Medina (Addai-Robinson) is killed by unknown assassins, forcing her to enlist Christian Wolff's (Affleck) help to solve the murder. With assistance from his estranged but highly capable brother, Braxton (Bernthal), Christian uses his brilliant mind and illicit methods to piece together the clues. As they draw closer to the truth, the trio attracts the attention of a group of deadly killers determined to keep the secrets buried. The film is slated for a North American release on April 25.
