This year, Anthony Mackie is not only starring in "Captain America: Brave New World," but he's also returning for the second season of the video game adaptation "Twisted Metal." The Peacock streaming platform, which distributes the series, strategically unveiled the first teaser trailer and a new key art (pictured below) this week, coinciding with the theatrical debut of "Brave New World."

The official synopsis for Season 2 reveals that following the events of the first season finale, protagonists John Doe and Quiet find themselves embroiled in the deadly "Twisted Metal" tournament. This treacherous demolition derby is hosted by the enigmatic Calypso. As they struggle to survive against dangerous new adversaries and familiar faces — including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth — John Doe also reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface, further complicating their perilous journey. An exact premiere date for Season 2 has not yet been announced.
