Eight years after making a splash with his critically acclaimed debut, "Patti Cake$," director Geremy Jasper is finally returning with his second self-written and directed feature film, "O'Dessa." The first trailer and promotional poster for the movie were recently unveiled. Much like "Patti Cake$," "O'Dessa" is heavily infused with musical elements, with Jasper once again collaborating with his scoring partner, Jason Binnick, to compose the film's original songs and music.

"O'Dessa" features a stellar cast including Murray Bartlett, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Regina Hall, Sadie Sink, Mark Boone Junior, and Bree Elrod.
Set in a post-apocalyptic future, "O'Dessa" follows the titular protagonist as she embarks on a perilous journey from her family farm to retrieve a lost heirloom. Along the way, O'Dessa ventures into an unfamiliar city where she falls in love. She must then harness her innate, wondrous singing voice to save the soul of her beloved. The film is slated to stream on Hulu starting March 20, 2025.
